Nadia Iftekhar, M.A., M.Ed.

Founder & Executive Director

Nadia Iftekhar is an educator, researcher, and designer dedicated to advancing accessibility through inclusive, multimodal learning tools. With a background in Speech and Hearing Science, Deaf education, and elementary inclusive education, she brings a deep understanding of diverse learner needs to every project. Nadia is currently completing her doctorate in Educational Psychology and Technology, with a specialization in instructional design. Fluent in Urdu/Hindi and American Sign Language, she centers linguistic and cultural access in her work. As the founder of Modal Access Foundation, she leads initiatives that dismantle digital barriers and reimagine education through a lens of equity, innovation, and belonging.

Dr. Harith Elsiddig, M.D.

Clinical Advisor for Inclusive Patient Education

Dr. Harith Elsiddig is a Anatomic and Clinical Pathology resident physician at Washington University in St. Louis, committed to advancing equity in healthcare access. As a Community Engagement Initiative (CEI) Fellow, he led efforts to introduce underrepresented college students to careers in pathology and medicine, while building lasting bridges between communities and the academic medical system. With a background spanning clinical research, corporate consulting, and medical education, Dr. Elsiddig brings a rare blend of insight and experience. Fluent in Arabic and deeply invested in patient rights and education, he champions accessible, culturally responsive healthcare. At Modal Access Foundation, he supports projects that make expert medical knowledge understandable and available to all, especially those historically underserved.

Fatemeh Alsharbini

Fatemeh brings over a decade of classroom experience and a strong background in educational sales and teacher training. She has presented to curriculum teams across the country and supported schools in adopting effective instructional tools. With a deep understanding of school systems and instructional needs, she has helped educators implement accessible solutions that drive student outcomes. Fatemeh is also proficient in HubSpot, a leading CRM used for managing sales leads and outreach. At Modal Access Foundation, she plays a key role in connecting innovative tools with the communities that benefit from them most.

Rahim Kapadia

Rahim is a nonprofit technology expert passionate about making organizational impact through smart digital transformation. With over 5 years of experience, he excels in "automating the boring stuff," that boost efficiency and amplify nonprofit missions. Rahim seamlessly bridges big-picture strategy with practical tech solutions. He’s also a dedicated advocate for digital inclusion, and in his downtime, you’ll find him exploring coffee shops, hiking trails, or immersed in books about frameworks and behavioral science.

Maria Santos

Maria is an operations strategist with extensive experience leading large-scale projects and building scalable systems across startups, global enterprises, and public sector organizations. With a background in workflow optimization and cross-sector coordination, she specializes in transforming complex processes into sustainable, human-centered solutions. Having grown up alongside a sister with severe developmental disabilities, Maria brings a personal commitment to equity and access in every initiative. At Modal Access Foundation, she supports the development of tools and infrastructure that empower families, caregivers, and communities to thrive.
